Based in Galway, Ireland.

NOMASSY didn’t start as a business plan. It started at our kitchen table, about 7 years ago.

My mother always woke up with stiffness in her neck and a dull ache in her back. Every morning was the same - she’d rub her neck, take a moment before getting up, and just say “I slept wrong again.” We tried everything. New mattresses, soft pillows, firm pillows, expensive pillows from department stores. Nothing really helped.

I started researching - really researching - about sleep posture, spinal alignment, and why most pillows actually work against our body instead of for it. That’s when I learned that a pillow shouldn’t just be soft; it should support you. It should cradle your head, support your neck, and keep your spine in its natural position, no matter how you sleep.

From that idea, the first NOMASSY pillow was born. I had a small batch made, mainly for my mum. After three nights, she came to me and said, “I woke up without pain for the first time in years.” That was the moment I knew I had to share this.
